Member Cities Support LMCC Franchise Renewal

LMCC is currently conducting franchise negotiations with Mediacom for a renewed cable franchise. The franchise renewal process was initiated in January 2011 with the establishment of a Franchise Renewal Committee. The committee has been in the process to involve the member residents and cities in the formation of franchise priorities.

LMCC officials report that 13 of the 17 member cities have approved a resolution indicating support for LMCC's negotiation efforts.
